EnergyEfficiencyMatters.co.uk is born out of a passion for energy efficiency and in recognition of the need to make our homes as energy efficient as possible.

Whilst there’s so much focus on this market at the moment (and rightly so) we felt the information could be a little confusing and difficult to understand. So this site is aimed at the homeowner, landlord or housing stock manager and is all about providing basic, understandable, non-technical information about the most common options when it comes to home improvement energy efficiency measures, links to any government grant funding that may be available and to then connecting with local professionals, companies and organisations who can help.

We do this by publishing:

• Basic and understandable information along with answers to frequently asked questions about the different ways of saving energy in the home and energy efficiency measures and links to more in-depth information as appropriate.
• A summary of the various government energy efficiency grant funding options that are available across the UK along with an explanation of what they are and who could benefit – again with links to progress applications.
• Links to important technical information and documentation
• Latest energy efficiency news
• A FREE business directory providing a much-needed platform for all individuals, companies and organisations to advertise, promote themselves, increase / establish a web presence and to make it easier for their next client to find them and make contact.

The directory allows any person or business involved in the energy efficiency market in the UK to advertise and promote themselves – all for FREE.

It means that even the smallest companies or sole traders (who may not even have a website in some cases) can increase, or even establish, their web presence and can list, promote and showcase their work and services making it easier to be found by and connect directly with any interested local homeowners, landlords or housing stock managers.

As we said, advertising is FREE … no catch and no strings attached whatsoever – it’s our way of supporting and promoting the energy efficiency industry and encouraging everyone to take whatever steps they can to improving the energy efficiency of their home.
